Valentine’s Day is full of roses, chocolates, teddy bears and rhymes. But sometimes the language of love is not as sweet as it might seem.
For someone in an abusive relationship, it actually can be threatening, coercive and scary. With this Valentine's campaign, we aim to raise awareness of verbal and emotional abuse and direct people to find help if needed.

No More, a charity dedicated to combating domestic and sexual violence, partnered with MullenLowe to launch the impactful campaign ‘Language of Love.’ Released on Valentine’s Day, the initiative centers around a series of thoughtfully designed cards that aim to convey a deeper meaning.
Each card features various expressions of coercive language, targeting the first form of domestic violence in relationships. By leveraging the familiar context of Valentine’s Day, the campaign seeks to engage individuals in conversations about coercive language.
Through this collaboration, No More and MullenLowe aim to shed light on the realities of domestic and sexual violence, encouraging individuals to recognize the signs, speak up, and foster a culture that prioritizes safety and confidence in knowing the signs.
